Let us know the cold hard facts about this killer virus full of nose sniffles and mild fevers!
Reclkess commment. It's not about how strong the virus is, it's about how easy it is to catch and the percentage of people it kills.

I am suspicious about the motivation behind peoples comments downplaying this pandemic. A few weeks ago we barely heard of this thing - now there are thousands dead.

Comments like yours are proudly ignorant, and people like you will infect their whole family without even knowing it.

That’s probably why Apple is rejecting all the coronavirus apps. They’d have to reject their own app if they want to be consistent though.

The only thing the map serve is to create more panic. If you're sick, stay home. If you're about to cough or sneeze, cover yourself. Anything and everything you touch, wash your hands. This is the same information we're told when we have a cold and flu. Lead a healthy lifestyle by exercising and eating more healthy foods to boost your immune system. It's all you can really do and have a control of. And drink plenty of water.
Dont be silly. You can do more. Stay home. Lose your job. Avoid people. Stock up on toilet paper. Live in fear. And join the nutjob revolution.

Yeah, but only one of their family members will die, so it's not really that big of a deal, right?
Whatever logic affirms their ignorant stance! And maybe it will be that one who everyone else in the family secretly wants to die so maybe it's not so bad.

People REALLY need to understand you can be infected and pass it along before you have any idea you are sick. Now picture large events with thousands of people and potentially dozens of unknowingly infected people passing it along to people around them. Attend one large event and infect your entire family before the person who infected you feels sick.

There are ignorant people repeating nonsense and passing it off as fact because they want to believe whatever nonsense they are spewing. That's the real reason why it will spread - misinformation. This is a catastrophe that is just getting started. Prepare for life to be real different for a while. Misinformation is killing people and nobody really cares.

I've seen a few reports from people in Italy. They blame it on the fact that no one took it seriously and thought it was just the flu. Now they have so many people infected that their hospitals can't cope with all the cases.
This is how it will happen in the US as well. There are so many people who think it's the big bad media lying to them so they don't trust anything except the nonsense they already believe. We are so screwed.

Sirius/XM also has a channel for information (121), and the Atlantic magazine is putting their articles outside their paywall apparently. CNN did a podcast they are updating too.

There is a ton of factual information out there, rather than listening to the administration.
WHO rates italy as the second best health system, and the U.S. 18th.

No that’s not the only thing the map accomplishes. It helps us know where hot spots are, which is important for those of us who travel frequently or who meet with people who travel frequently.

German government says 60 percent of their population or more will get the virus. Worldwide statistics tell us 10 percent of those over 80 who get the virus will die.

yeah, maybe people should stay home for a couple of weeks and you should stop trying to get everyone killed with false bravado.
