PSA: the base unit iMac (8CPU/8GPU/16GB/256GB) ('https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/imac/blue-24-inch-standard-glass-apple-m4-chip-with-8-core-cpu-and-8-core-gpu-16gb-memory-256gb#') includes a keyboard without Touch ID. Please consider carefully buying this model (or recommending it to anyone). There is no magic in a "magic keyboard" without Touch ID. You can buy a keyboard with Touch ID later, but the cost will be essentially equal to the upgrade cost of the 10/10/16/256 version. You're welcome.

Need to bring back the $799 eMac
This version of iMac should really be the new eMac while the iMac should get update to 27” or even a 32” / 6k option. I do love the iMac as a shared family computer with kids, but its really hard to justify over a Mac Mini + any monitor you want combo. And for crying out loud , bring back target display mode Apple! ?

I've always liked the all-in-one aesthetic, and I've owned and enjoyed iMacs in the past. But they would need to come up with a bigger screen option to entice me to return to the form factor.
